Jody Hull (1985-1988)
Jody played his entire junior hockey career in Peterborough, including a final Petes season that saw him put up 94 points in 1987-88. Drafted in the 1st round 18th overall by the Hartford Whalers in 1987, Jody made the team in 1988-89 and played 60 games. After another season in Hartford, Hull moved on to the bright lights and big city of New York (Rangers) where he played parts of two seasons and then a year with the Ottawa Senators before finding a place in Florida with the Panthers for five seasons He then headed to the Tampa Bay Lightning. His other NHL stops include Philadelphia, and then a second stint with Ottawa until he retired in 2004. He then joined on as an assistant coach of the Petes in 2005 and served as Head Coach from 2012 to the 2017-18 season. Jody coached Canada at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka tournament and won a gold medal.
