Eric Staal (2000-2003)
Eric Staal played three seasons with the maroon and white and put up 98 points in his final OHL season. After being drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes 2nd overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he jumped right into the Carolinas lineup. He played 12 seasons in Carolina and led the team to a Stanley Cup Championship in 2005/06. During the 2015-2016 season, he was traded to the New York Rangers He has represented Canada in numerous international tournaments and has won gold in both the Olympics and World Championships which makes him part of the Triple Gold Club.
