Chris Buonomo heads to Barrie

Peterborough Petes General Manager David Reid announced today that the team has completed a deal with the Barrie Colts sending defenceman Chris Buonomo and Guelph’s 5th round draft pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection to the Colts in exchange for the Colts 4th round draft pick in 2013 and 10th round draft pick in 2011.

“The Peterborough Petes wish Chris all the best with the Colts. Chris was an outstanding member of our organization for the past two seasons and always represented himself and the Petes with class and professionalism” says Petes General Manager David Reid.

The Petes have also reassigned forward Jeff Swift to the Liftlock Stars Jr. A and goaltender Keinan Brown to the Kemptville 73’s Jr. A.
