Last Meeting: Frontenacs (4) vs Petes (3) SO – November 22, 2024
It’s the fifth meeting of the season tonight between the Petes and Frontenacs as Peterborough travels to Kingston for their final game before the Holiday break. The Frontenacs (2nd in the East division) have had the Petes number this season, winning all four matchups so far this year. If Peterborough can get into the win column on Friday night, they will hand Kingston their fourth straight loss in the process.
Winning their fifth straight on home ice last night, the red hot Petes will be looking to leading scorer Aiden Young to get the offence going. Young was a key contributor to last night’s win over Ottawa with a goal and an assist in the game. Peterborough can continue their four game point streak and head into the break on a high note by beating Frontenacs in Kingston tonight.
Kingston will be without two of their top five scorers in the game, with Vegas Golden Knights prospect Tuomas Uronen and Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Emil Pieniniemi both representing Finland at the World Juniors. They will be looking to bounce back after a 10-1 loss at the hands of the Brantford Bulldogs on Sunday.
Fans can catch tonight’s game on YourTV Peterborough, CHL TV, and Freq 90.5.
