The Petes will look for revenge tonight against the Generals after suffering a 6-3 loss in Oshawa on Sunday night. This is the second time the greatest rivalry in junior hockey will clash this season, out of 12 meetings.
Petes d-core will look to keep Calum Ritchie, OHL’s leading scorer amongst rookies, off the score sheet in his PMC debut. He tallied two goals and two assists on Sunday.
The maroon and white will look to stay out of the penalty box after giving Oshawa six power play chances (three in the third period) on Sunday.
Staying red-hot ????: Petes’ 6th overall pick in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Nick Lardis looks to extend his point streak to five games (2G, 2G), and Emmett Sproule has his eyes set on extending his streak to six games (4G, 3A).
After being named 61st Captain in Petes’ history on Tuesday, it appears Shawn Spearing will make his season debut tonight.
Michael Simpson will get the nod in net tonight as the Lift Lock lads look to get back into the win column.
