Petes, Women for Wishes Raise $14,037.65 in Support of Make-A-Wish Canada
The Peterborough Petes recently partnered with Women for Wishes to host a fundraiser during their game on Thursday, November 27 against the North Bay Battalion. The event featured a number of fundraising opportunities for fans and businesses to get involved and help support life saving wishes at Make-A-Wish Canada.
The Peterborough Petes and Women for Wishes are very proud to announce that a total of $14,037.65 was raised in support of Make-A-Wish Canada during the event. A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping us make this possible!
Make-A-Wish Canada is part of the world’s leading children’s wish granting organization. Over the past 40 years, Make-A-Wish Canada has granted more than 40,000 wishes, including 2,011 last year alone.
