The Petes look to add to their 2-0 record with a pair of home games against Eastern Conference opponents this weekend, beginning with tonight’s game against Petes alumnus and former head coach Jody Hull and the Niagara IceDogs.
Numerous Petes will be working to add to the list of milestones accomplished last week, including first OHL goals by Liam Kirk and Cameron Butler, and Nick Isaacson’s first multi-goal game. Chris Paquette, a former IceDog, became the first Pete since Eric Staal on September 26, 2002 to score two shorthanded goals in a game. Additionally, Hunter Jones posted his first career shutout and was named CHL Goaltender of the Week.
Tonight’s game is proudly sponsored by Cogeco. In addition to the YourTV 2018-19 magnet schedule distributed at the doors, Cogeco is giving you the chance win a team-signed Petes jersey. All you have to do is fill out a ballot at the Cogeco table in the north lobby of the PMC and could win!
The Trent Future Vet Club will be selling chuck-a-pucks – look for them around the building and purchase your puck for the second intermission puck toss!
