Brown Traded To Windsor For Picks
Niagara IceDogs head coach and general manager Marty Williamson announced this afternoon that the IceDogs have dealt 2014 1st round pick Logan Brown to the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for six draft picks after Brown did not report to camp this morning.
The IceDogs have acquired Guelph’s 2nd round pick in 2015, Kitchener’s 3rd round pick in 2016, Windsor’s 2nd round pick in 2017, Windsor’s 14th round pick in 2017, Guelph’s 2nd round pick in 2018 and Windsor’s 3rd round pick in 2018 in return for Brown, the 6th overall pick of this summer’s Priority Selection Draft.
In addition to these picks, Niagara will receive a compensatory 1st round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection Draft due to Brown being considered defected as per league rules. The pick will be 7th overall.
