IceDogs Return for a Two Game Home Stand after Finding Success on the Road
The IceDogs are looking red hot as they have picked up three points in their last two outings. After a 4-game road stint, the IceDogs are looking to bring their momentum back to the Meridian Center and continue their newfound success in the midst of a rebuild against a veteran lineup found in the Windsor Spitfires (11-3-2-0).
Tyler Angle is returning to home territory, as he was born in Thorold, ON. The Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick is averaging 1.44 points per game and is looking sharp on the powerplay with 4 goals in 16 games. The IceDogs will be looking to keep Angle off the score sheet; he has never collected a point verse the ‘Dogs.
Isaac Enright returned home from the World U17 Hockey Challenge and didn’t miss a beat. On Thursday night he returned to the lineup on the road against the Peterborough Petes. Enright looked right at home as he picked up an assist on the first goal of the game and provided a strong presence on the blueline, helping the ‘Dogs collect one point. The ‘Dogs are lucky have Enright back as he acts poised on the back end and makes smart decisions as a rookie defenseman for the IceDogs.
