IceDogs Hire Damon Racicot as Assistant Coach
Niagara, ON – The IceDogs have had another hockey operations hire this week, with Damon Racicot being named Assistant Coach.
Damon’s playing career consisted of Jr.B, Jr.C, and Sr. A levels. Most recently, he has been an Assistant Coach for the Brantford 99ers of the OJHL. Damon has also coached Jr. B (GOJHL), the U14 OHL/OHF Program of Excellence, and all levels of minor hockey. Through Power Edge Pro on-ice training, Damon has helped develop several players over the years.
Head Coach Daniel Fitzgerald had the following to say regarding Damon’s hire: “Damon is a great hockey mind who invests in his players on and off the ice. He is a relationship builder and is an invaluable piece of our coaching staff.”
When asking Damon his thoughts on joining the IceDogs organization, he expressed he is “excited to share his energy, passion and enthusiasm with the Niagara IceDogs organization and this talented group of young hockey players.”
