Exhibition Home Game Two Tonight in Fort Erie
The Niagara IceDogs hit the ice for their second exhibition home game at the Fort Erie Leisure Plex. The puck will drop at 7:00pm, doors will open to the public at 6:00pm. For more information on ticketing, click here.
The IceDogs will be playing the Windsor Spitfires for the second time in the past five years of exhibition hockey. The last time these two teams met prior to the start of the regular season, was September 16th, 2015, where the IceDogs were victorious 4-1.
Last night, the IceDogs came up just short in a shootout loss to the Barrie Colts in Port Colborne. Phil Tomasino and Jonah De Simone scored both IceDogs goals, while Christian Sbaraglia and Josh Rosenzweig combined for 28 saves made throughout the game. Niagara dominated the face off circle, winning 70%.
