Exhibition Home Game One Tonight in Port Colborne
The Niagara IceDogs open their 2019 Exhibition Schedule tonight in Port Colborne against the Barrie Colts!
The City of Port Colborne is celebrating the game with a full line up of activities to take part in, all at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.
- 1:00-3:00pm : Free Swim
- 2:00-4:00pm : Free Skate
- 5:00-6:30pm : Free Concert with Rock of 80’s
- 6:00pm : Doors open!
- 7:00pm : Puck Drop!
Prior to puck drop, at 5:00pm, the Rock of 80’s band will be playing a pre-game concert to hype up the crowd before the new-look and exciting Niagara IceDogs hit the ice.
Marcel Dionne will be dropping the ceremonial puck alongside Mayor Bill Steele and Tim Hoyle, President of Port Colborne Wave Girl’s Minor Hockey Association.
Revenue from the exhibition game ticket sales will be going to support the Port Colborne Wave Girl’s Hockey Association. The girls’ minor hockey program continues to grow with plans to add one or two teams for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
