GAMEDAY PREVIEW: IceDogs host Wolves in annual Halloween game
The Niagara IceDogs are at home tonight as they host the Sudbury Wolves in a rematch of a tough game earlier this month. The IceDogs come into this game riding a 7-game point streak and are looking to continue.
The ‘Dogs are being led from between the pipes, forward, as Stephen Dhillon has the third best goals against average in the league, with 2.53. Dhillon’s confidence and composure in the net have helped his team out at big moments in the game. The IceDogs’ special teams continue to be among the best in the league, especially the penalty kill which has allowed the fewest amount of shorthanded goals league-wide. NHL Draft Eligible forward Akil Thomas currently leads the team in points, with 15. Akil will be looking to add to his totals tonight to help his team surpass the Wolves.
