IceDogs Host Erie Otters For 2nd Time in 2 Weeks
The Niagara IceDogs are set to go to battle as they host the Erie Otters tonight at 7:00 at the Meridian Centre for the 2nd time this season. The IceDogs are looking to repeat the last time these two teams met, Niagara won 4-3.
This game will also feature two touted Tampa Bay prospects in the IceDogs’ Christopher Paquette and the Otters’ Taylor Raddysh. Both were drafted into the NHL in 2016 – Raddysh in the 2nd round, Paquette in the 5th round. The IceDogs defence will have to stay sharp to eliminate any major chances that Raddysh’s strong passing, and decision making with the puck, though the offensive prowess of Paquette could be a beneficiary of Raddysh’s loose defensive game. Paquette, a player who is very hard to contain because of how effective he is in all three zones, will be looking to use his offensive instincts to help the team be successful against an Erie that hasn’t lost since they faced Niagara two weeks ago.
