Hounds Set to Open Training Camp
The Soo Greyhounds 2004/2005 training camp begins Wednesday September 1st. A total of 50 players, including 2004 first round draft pick Ryan McInerney (pictured) will be at Memorial Gardens for registration between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. followed by fitness testing at 1:30 p.m. The training camp schedule follows.
Wed. September 1st, 11a.m.-1 p.m.- Registration. 1:30 p.m. Fitness Testing
Thurs. September 2nd, 9-11 a.m. Scrimmage, Team 1 vs. Team 2
4:30-6:30 p.m. Scrimmage, Team 1 vs. Team 3
Fri. September 3rd, 9-11 a.m. Scrimmage, Team 2 vs. Team 3
3:30-5:30 p.m. Rookie Game
Sat. September 4th, 3-5 p.m. Scrimmage
Sun. September 5th, 7:00 p.m. Red-White Intra Squad Game
Training camp scrimmages are open to the public. The Hounds first exhibition game is Friday September 10th when they host the Sudbury Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets are available by contacting the Memorial Gardens office at 759-5251.
