Hounds Play Three on the Road
It is a busy weekend for the Soo Greyhounds who play 3 games in 3 nights, all against West Division rivals.. They return to action Thursday evening when they visit the Windsor Spitfires. It will be the second meeting of the season between the clubs. The Hounds defeated the Spitfires 5-2 in Windsor on October 13th. The Spits are fourth in the West Division with 26 points.
On Friday night, the Hounds visit the Sarnia Sting for the second time this season. It will be the fourth meeting of the season between the clubs. The Sting is second in the West, 2 points behind the Hounds and 1 ahead of Plymouth.
On Saturday, the Greyhounds conclude their road trip with a game against the Saginaw Spirit. It will be the Soo's first regular season visit to the Michigan city. The Spirit is last in the West Division.
The Hounds head into this weekend's road trip with a record of 16 wins, 13 losses(1 in overtime) and 1 tie, good for 32 points and first place in the West. Captain Jeff Carter leads the team in scoring with 19 goals, 19 assists and 38 points in 28 games.
The Hounds next home game is Wednesday December 10th when they host the Sudbury Wolves at 7:00 p.m.
