Hounds Drop Close Game to Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires staved off elimination Thursday night by downing the Soo Greyhounds 4-3 in overtime.  The Hounds lead the best of 7 series, 3 games to 1. Steve Downie's second goal of the game, on the power play at 1:40 of the extra period gave Windsor the victory. Cal O'Reilly and Paul Giallanardo had the other Windsor goals. Blair Jarrett led the Hounds with a goal and an assist. Kyle Wharton and Jordan Smith had the other goals. The Spits out shot the Hounds 49-37.
