Generals announce remaining promotional schedule
Oshawa, Ont., – With the loosening of some provincial health restrictions, the Oshawa Generals and Tribute Communities Centre are excited to welcome back 100 per cent capacity crowds to the remainder of Oshawa Generals home games.
With that said, we know as an organization that coming to a hockey game is all about the experience. Win or lose, we want #GensNation to have fun coming out to our games.
And boy, do you all deserve it.
That is why we are so pleased to announce the remainder of our home schedule will feature four special theme nights for everyone to enjoy.
St. Patrick’s Day Game – Sunday, March 13th vs Peterborough
After a two-year hiatus, we are FINALLY getting another chance to wear those incredibly green Oshawa Generals jerseys! Find your pot of gold at the TCC on Sunday March 13th when we take on our arch-rival at 6:05 PM.
Fans are invited to celebrate with head-to-toe green! We hear it’s the Petes’ least favourite colour after red.

Pride Night – Sunday, March 29th vs Ottawa
The Oshawa Generals are so proud to host our second annual Pride Night as we continue to be committed to both the advocacy of and education of diversity and inclusion.
Local LGBTQ+ organizations will join us on the concourse to act as safe spaces for everyone in the #GensNation community to learn, grow, and see themselves as part of our community. Representation is incredibly important to us.
Our players will dawn a custom-designed Pride Night decal created by Alexandria Cotterill, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and an extremely talented member of our Graphic Design team. This decal will be worn on our players’ helmets throughout the game as well as featured on the official game pucks throughout the night.
You the fans can also join us in wearing your Pride on your sleeves as a unique Pride Night t-shirt will also be sold at and leading up to the game. While the design is still a secret, it is meant to express the existing connection between the LGTBQ+ community and hockey and how we believe this connection can be made even stronger. All proceeds from sales of our 2022 Pride Night T-Shirt will be donated to an LGBTQ+ charitable organization from Durham Region.
Finally, stay tuned for an extremely special and glamourous guest that will be dropping the ceremonial puck drop. You won’t want to miss it.

Women in Sport’s Night – Sunday, April 3rd vs Kingston
Following the complete domination of our Canadian women Olympic athletes both in Pyeonchang and Beijing, it is only right we continue to celebrate their rightful place in sports at a local level.
April 3rd, the Tribute Communities Centre will be filled with local girls’ sports teams both in the stands and around the concourse, as an opportunity to be seen, celebrated, and learned about. This provides the opportunity for little girls everywhere to see that even at home, they belong in sports.
Our intermission mini-games will be made up of local girls hockey teams, giving them the main stage in a building full of #GensNation.
Our players will be inviting their moms for a night of thanks as well, recognizing they wouldn’t be where they are now today without them. More on this to come later!
