GAME DAY: GENS VS 67S
Tonight’s game features another divisional matchup for the Oshawa Generals as the Ottawa 67s come to town for the second game of an eight-game season series. Three of the Generals next six games will be against the 67s, therefore, these two teams are bound to become well acquainted with one another.
While Oshawa had an off day yesterday, Ottawa is coming off an 11-3 blowout win over the Saginaw Spirit yesterday afternoon. The 67s currently hold the first spot in the East Division while the Generals sit in fourth. However, with a win tonight the Gens would keep pace with division leaders Ottawa 67s and Peterborough Petes as they look to gain some momentum in the competitive East Division. The key aspects for tonight’s game are: get some offence from the defence, win the neutral zone battles, and stifle the offence through the use of shot blocks.
Tonight we welcome, in partnership with KX96, the Hunter Brothers to our game! Be sure to keep an eye out on the concourse as the brothers will be doing meet and greet during intermissions with fans!
Next weekend the Generals will head out on the road to face the Erie Otters on Friday, November 3rd at 7:00 pm and the Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday, November 4th at 7:00 pm, before coming home to face the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday, November 5th at 6:05 pm.
