OHL Championship Series: Game 1
London, Ont. – It’s Game One of the OHL Championship Series and the Oshawa Generals are approaching London to face off for Games One and Two this week at the Budweiser Gardens against the Knights.
Oshawa is approaching tonight’s game after winning the Eastern Conference Finals against the North Bay Battalion. Last Monday night the Generals lifted the Bobby Orr Trophy high after putting on a show in front of a GensNation crowd of almost 6,000.
The London Knights are entering the Final Series after winning their Game Six last Sunday against the Saginaw Spirit and earning themselves the Wayne Gretzky Trophy.
With both teams clinching the top spots in their respective conferences, the London Knights and the Oshawa Generals clashed only twice in February, with the matchups resulting in a dead-even split. This series marks the first time in their decorated team histories that the Knights and the Generals have crossed paths in the playoffs, guaranteeing a memorable battle that will resonate through the ages.
Tonight’s game will be aired on TSN, CHL TV, or you can listen live on Oshawa Generals Radio at http://bit.ly/3NVyu5z. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.
