Third pair of Player Coaches announced for 2023 Future Generals Camp
Oshawa, Ont., – The Future Generals Hockey Camp presented by Signarama announces Ryder McIntyre and Matthew Buckley as the third pair of player coaches to be added to this season’s camp of coaches members of the Oshawa Generals coaching staff for what is sure to be an exciting week for all campers attending. The Future Generals Hockey Camp is being held on August 21st -25th at the Tribute Communities Centre.
In McIntyre’s first season with the club, after arriving via trade with the Sarnia Sting, the Stouffville, Ont., native appeared in 58 games. The 6’3 winger scored a career-high seven goals anfd 10 assists for 17 points. McIntyre quickly became a fan-favourite for his physical play style.
The next player-coach joining the camp this season is third-year player, Matthew Buckley. The Ottawa, Ont., tallied 13 points in 48 games during the 2023-2023 season, one shy of his rookie total of 14. Despite struggling with some injuries early in the season, Buckley returned as a dependable depth forward for the organization.
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels, aged seven to thirteen, where they are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the ice with Oshawa Generals players and members of the coaching staff.
