BULLDOGS GO TO AIR WITH STEW KERNAN
The Hamilton Bulldogs are pleased to announce that Stew Kernan is joining the organization as the new Radio Play-by-Play Voice and Communications Coordinator.
“With Stew’s knowledge and history covering the OHL, he will be a great addition to our team and to our community,” said team President and General Manager Steve Staios. “He will be a trusted voice calling the games and will deliver comprehensive commentary hosting the new Bulldogs show on TSN 1150 this season.”
Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Kernan spent the last 13 plus years as the Radio and T-V Voice of the Ontario Hockey League’s Sudbury Wolves.
“There is no question in my mind about the passion the fans of Hamilton have for the Bulldogs.” said Kernan. “I love Junior Hockey and I can’t wait to bring the Bulldogs stories to the people of Hamilton and surrounding areas.”
Kernan also served as the News Director at KiSS 105.3 and 92.7 Rock radio stations in Sudbury with his Play-by-Play career beginning in the Ontario Junior “A” Hockey League in the 1990’s.
The Hamilton Bulldogs regular season broadcasts will begin on TSN 1150 on Friday September 23rd from Mississauga with the home opener at FirstOntario Center on Saturday September 24th against the Kingston Frontenacs.
