Barber Poles host Gens in Gatineau with chance to advance
After a statement win in Game 4 earned them a 3-1 series lead over the Oshawa Generals, the Ottawa 67’s are aiming to send their divisional foes packing, today, and advance to Round 2.
The Barber Poles host their final game at Centre Slush Puppie, today, as Gatineau plays host to Game 5 between the 67’s and Generals. Puck drop is slated for 2:00pm, and fans can watch locally on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV or hear Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200.
Ottawa didn’t give the Generals a sniff, Thursday night, clobbering the home side for a 9-0 victory. Max Donoso pitched a 29-save shutout, in his first playoff win, while Logan Morrison scored a hat trick, Luca Pinelli, and Will Gerrior each notched a pair, and Jack Beck, and Vinzenz Rohrer each recording a goal.
Jacob Oster and Carter Bickle hung on for dear life in the Oshawa net, combining to stop 26 of 39 shots.
