67’s close out preseason vs Frontenacs in Cornwall
The Ottawa 67’s have their final tuneup before the 2023-24 regular season, Saturday afternoon, from the Cornwall Civic Complex.
Officially the “home team”, Ottawa will play host to the Kingston Frontenacs, in their fourth and final exhibition tilt. Puck drop is set for 2:00pm ET.
The 67’s are 2-1 during the preseason, most recently falling 5-4 to the North Bay Battalion inside The Arena at TD Place on September 9. Cooper Foster scored a pair, with Josh Brady, and Charlie Hilton tallying the other goals, in a 24-save effort by Max Donoso.
Ottawa already has one win over Kingston during the preseason, taking their exhibition opener by a score of 4-1 on the road.
Game Notes:
• While Brad Gardiner hasn’t scored in three preseason games, he leads the team in points, on the back of five assists.
• Tumaos Uronen, Cooper Foster, and Charlie Hilton are tied for the team lead, with a pair of goals each.
• Max Donoso has won a pair of games, and Collin MacKenzie has recorded a victory of his own.
• Uronen, Hilton, Derek Smyth, and Nic Whitehead scored in the matchup against Kingston.
