67’s look to cap off 2025 with win over Storm
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s return to TD Place to welcome the Guelph Storm on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for their second Home for the Holidays game. Fans can also tune in at home on Flo Hockey or listen to TSN 1200 for play-by-play from Kenny Walls.
The 67’s come into their last game of 2025 with plenty of motivation: looking to extend their win streak to eight while avenging their early-season loss to the Storm.
The Barber Poles have been on a tear as of late, helping sit them first in the league heading into the afternoon game. Cooper Foster leads the team with 35 points, while linemates Filip Ekberg and Nic Whitehead have been on fire, both with four points in their last three games.
Guelph beat the 67’s 4-3 in October, with a 34-save game from 2026 NHL draft-eligible goaltender Zachary Jovanovski, while defenseman Noah Jenken picked up a goal and an assist. Be on the lookout for 2025 second overall pick Jakko Wycisk, who already has 20 points over 26 games in his rookie season.
The 67’s will still be without Jasper Kuhta, who marked one of the team’s goals in that prior game, as the winger is tearing up the World Juniors with Team Finland, with five points over three games so far. That said, the Storm are without Alex Maclean, who scored that game as well, who they recently traded to Kingston. In his place is former Kingston Frontenac Tyler Hopkins, who has two points in four meetings against Ottawa this season.
