GAME PREVIEW: 67’s aiming to secure playoff berth, facing Bulldogs
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s (35-10-1-2) will look to secure a spot in the post-season as they host the first-place Brantford Bulldogs (34-7-6-2) at the arena at TD Place on Saturday at 3 p.m for the Siren Series game sponsored by Walker Real Estate. Fans can also tune in to the game on Rogers TV Channel 22, via Flo Hockey, or listen to TSN 1200 for play-by-play from Kenny Walls.
Should the Ottawa 67’s pick up a win in regulation over the Bulldogs, the 67’s will officially clinch a spot in the OHL playoffs. The Ottawa 67’s continue to be led by overager Cooper Foster, whose 47 points over 48 games lead the pack. Sam McCue, who has seven points in eight games since joining the 67’s, is set to play in his first game against the Brantford Bulldogs since the trade. On the blueline, Buffalo Sabres prospect David Bedkowski is coming off scoring in the Barber Poles’ previous game, last Sunday’s loss against the Sudbury Wolves.
On the other side of the rink, the Brantford Bulldogs are led by 2026 NHL draft-eligible prospect Caleb Malholtra, with 62 points in 48 games. The Bulldogs also boast numerous NHL first-round picks, including the likes of Jake O’Brien (Seattle), Marek Vanacker (Chicago), Adam Jiricek (St. Louis), Ben Danford (Toronto), and Jett Luchanko (Philadelphia).
These two teams have met three times this season, with the Bulldogs leading the season series with a 2-1 record. However, the Ottawa 67’s did pull through in their most recent matchup against Brantford, securing a 6-0 win over the Bulldogs on December 20th, 2025. In that game, Spencer Bowes pulled through with a multi-point night, securing a goal and an assist in the win.
