Tulupov suspended for Game 6
BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, March 31, 2008 The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s disciplinary committee today imposed a one-game suspension to Victoriaville Tigres defenseman Kirill Tulupov for a hit to the head which occurred during last Saturday’s contest between the Tigres and the Mooseheads.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
