The Screaming Eagles and the Huskies conclude a deal
LONGUEUIL, Thursday January 6th 2005 (QMJHL) The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies concluded a deal, Thursday, during the eighteenth day of trades involving student players in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Screaming Eagles traded left-winger Robin Richards in return for the Huskies’ 8th round pick choice at the 2005 entry draft (acquired from Victoriaville).
In 32 games with the Screaming Eagles this season, Richards (85-05-31) collected three assists and 100 penalty minutes. His plus-minus rating was at 3. Born in Winnipeg, 19 year-old Richards is 6’04” and weights 215 pounds.
The trading period involving under 20-year old players started on Monday December 20th and will end on Saturday January 8th, at noon, Eastern Standard Time.
