The QMJHL releases its Attendance report
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League released today its comparative statistics document as of January 31, 2003.
This recent comparative statistics document about the attendance in the QMJHL shows increases for 8 teams and a slight drop for the 8 others. These statistics are always compared to last season at the same time.
Teams like the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (+5683 after 28 games), the Halifax Mooseheads (+786 after 25 games), the Moncton Wildcats (+157 after 29 games), the Québec Remparts (+27151 after 26 games), the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (+4333 after 23 games), the Sherbrooke Castors (+7134 after 27 games), the Val-d’Or Foreurs (+2654 after 26 games) and the Victoriaville Tigres (+2020 after 28 games) show a good increase compared to last year.
This fourth report shows slight drops for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan (-7427 after 30 games), the Baie-Comeau Drakkar (-298 after 26 games), the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (-3330 after 25 games), the Drummondville Voltigeurs (-7658 after 24 games), the Hull Olympiques (-3120 after 25 games), the Montréal Rocket (-25773 after 27 games), the Rimouski Océanic (-12961 after 28 games) and the Shawinigan Cataractes (-6685 after 25 games).
Finally, after 422 games played this season, statistics show a drop of 17334 persons for all the QMJHL. There are 154 games to play before the 2003 Playoffs.
