The QMJHL releases its 2nd Attendance report
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League released this afternoon its second comparative statistics document as of November 30th, 2002.
In the QMJHL as of the 30th of November, a light drop was noted concerning the total of spectators per game. It is only 10 persons less then last season at the same time. Nevertheless, the QMJHL teams have only played 87 games instead of 98, last season. Also, there is at least an average of 2922 spectators per game in the QMJHL arenas instead of 2743 compare to last year. Since 1969, it is 29642590 spectators who have been to a QMJHL hockey game.
This comparative statistics document about the attendance in the QMJHL shows many increases for teams like the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (+8074), the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (+1344), the Halifax Mooseheads (+3128), the Hull Olympiques (+746), the Québec Remparts (+12015), the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (+1415), the Val-d’Or Foreurs (+737) and the Victoriaville Tigres (+999). Some teams like the Acadie-Bathurst Titan (-4705), the Baie-Comeau Drakkar (-541), the Drummondville Voltigeurs (-3732), the Moncton Wildcats (-2125), the Montréal Rocket (-9291), the Rimouski Océanic (-5603), the Shawinigan Cataractes
(-4213) and the Sherbrooke Castors (-499) show a little drop compare to last season at the same time.
