Referee Francis Charron to make NHL debut tonight

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, April 5, 2010 – Former Quebec Major Junior Hockey League referee Francis Charron will make his NHL debut tonight in St. Louis as the Blues host the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Charron, an Ottawa native, has extensive refereeing experience. He worked several prestigious events, including three MasterCard Memorial Cup tournaments (2006, 2007 & 2008) and two World Junior Championships (2007 & 2008).
