QMJHL Roundup: Filip Chlapik has three-points as Islanders down Screaming Eagles
CHARLOTTETOWN — Filip Chlapik scored twice and added an assist as the Charlottetown Islanders downed the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 5-2 on Thursday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Kameron Kielly, Chris Chaddock and Filip Rydstrom supplied the rest of the offence for the Islanders (8-6-1). Calgary Flames prospect Mason McDonald turned aside 23 shots for the win in net.
Evgeny Svechnikov and Clark Bishop chipped in for Cape Breton (6-8-2). Alexandre Belanger kicked out 24-of-28 shots in 58:13.
Charlottetown failed to score on four power plays while the Screaming Eagles went 0 for 5.

MOOSEHEADS 5 WILDCATS 2
HALIFAX — Danny Moynihan and Maxime Fortier had a goal and two assists each as the Mooseheads got past Moncton.
Arnaud Durandeau, Andrew Shewfelt and Otto Somppi also scored for Halifax (6-8-2).
Maximilian Glaessl and Manuel Wiederer responded in the third period for the Wildcats (9-5-1).

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Adam Marsh had a hat trick and added an assist as the Sea Dogs won their third straight with a victory over Acadie-Bathurst.
Joe Veleno and Mathieu Joseph chipped in with a goal and two assists apiece for Saint John (9-5-0). Daniel Del Paggio, Nathan Noel and Matthew Highmore supplied the rest of the offence while Thomas Chabot tacked on three assists.
Antoine Morand struck twice for the Titan (3-11-1), who lost their fourth straight. Daniil Miromanov had the other.
