QMJHL Roundup: Boivin and Miromanov lead Titan in 7-3 rout of Mooseheads
HALIFAX — Christophe Boivin and Daniil Miromanov both had power-play goals as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan routed the Halifax Mooseheads 7-3 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Boivin, Mark Trickett, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Garrett Johnston all scored in the first period as Acadie-Bathurst (17-22-4) built a 4-0 lead in the first 18 minutes of the game. Samuel L’Italien, Cole Rafuse and Miromanov then scored in the second period.
Maxime Fortier and Vincent Watt scored 12 seconds apart for Halifax (14-23-8) in the final minute of play of the first to cut the Titan’s lead to 4-2. Connor Moynihan added a power-play goal at the 16:45 mark of the second.
Reilly Pickard made 20 saves for the win. Eric Brassard stopped 6-of-10 shots faced in 17:58 of work for the Mooseheads before giving way to Kevin Resop, who turned aside 25-of-28 shots.
Acadie-Bathurst went 2 for 3 on the power play, while Halifax went 1 for 5.

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Matteo Pietroniro scored twice — including the overtime winner — as Baie-Comeau sank the Sagueneens.
Vincent Deslauriers also scored for the Drakkar (7-30-3).
Dmitry Zhukenov and Nicolas Roy supplied the offence for Chicoutimi (19-17-6).
