Moose get Big win

The Mooseheads put together a solid 60-minute effort in their best game of the year upending the Wildcats 5-2 in Moncton.  The Mooseheads veterans stepped up with Charles Bety(2), Gerrad Grant, and Travis Randell each scoring for the Moose.  Rookie Francis Turbide had the other goal, while rookie Darcy Ashley added 2 assists. The Moose outshot the Cats 40-24.  Mathieu Corbeil picked up the win in the Mooseheads goal.  The win snaps a 4-game losing streak for the Herd.

The Mooseheads return to home ice next Friday, November 5th when the Herd hosts the Chicoutimi Sagueneens at 7pm.  The Mooseheads will celebrate the 100th anniverary of the Canadian Navy at this game through their Annual DND Appreciation Night.  The Moose will wear special Navy jerseys.  For tickets visit the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, select Superstore Outlets, www.ticketatlantic.com or charge by phone 451-1221.
