Marvin Cüpper is named the VAUGHN Goaltender of the Month

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, October 2, 2014 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that Shawinigan Cataractes goaltender Marvin Cüpper is the VAUGHN Goaltender of the Month.
 
The native of Germany has been brilliant since the start of the season, registering 4 wins while maintaining a 1.81 goals-against-average and .940 save percentage. During that span, he went on quite a run by not allowing a goal in 206 minutes and 5 seconds, good for fourth on the all-time list.
 
His performances have vaulted the Cataractes in the league’s top tier in the overall standings.
 
Cüpper leads all backstops in wins, goals-against-average, save percentage and shutouts.
