Marcel-Robert Trophy candidates revealed
BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, February 20, 2006 (QMJHL) Seventeen of the League’s eighteen teams announced their candidate for the Marcel-Robert Trophy given annually to the scholastic player of the year. The Trophy will be awarded at the Golden Puck Awards ceremony held in April.
Every team’s candidate will receive a $400 bursary. Five finalists will then be announced before the end of this week. They will receive an extra $400 bursary for making it to the final.
The winner will be awarded, along with the Trophy, the sum of $500 and the "Guy Lafleur" student-athlete bursary worth $6,000.
