Game cancelled in Baie-Comeau
BOUCHERVILLE, Saturday September 19, 2015 – The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, decided to cancel the game in Baie-Comeau this afternoon following a health problem that occurred with Samuel Beck of the Rimouski Océanic. He was transported to hospital and the situation is under control. The Commissioner took this decision after communicating with the Director of Player Safety, Raymond Bolduc, present at the game, in the best interest of Samuel Beck’s health, the players present, the staff of both teams as well as the officials.
The Drakkar and Océanic certified Athletic Therapists and doctor present acted quickly in this situation. Our thoughts are with Samuel and his family at this time.
