Fines are imposed in the QMJHL

(Longueuil, Tuesday September 3rd, 2002)-The Québec Major Junior Hockey
League disciplinary Prefect, Maurice Filion, imposed today a fine to the
teams of Bathurst, Hull, Moncton and Rouyn-Noranda.

After the facts occurred during the game between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan
and the Moncton Wildcats on Saturday August 31, a fine is imposed to both
teams a 6th fight during the game.

During the game between the Hull Olympiques and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies
on Sunday September 1st, a fine is imposed to both teams for 6th fight
during the game.

Finally, the fines were imposed following the pre-season games Directives
given to all the teams in August. If one of the teams repeats the offence
again, a fine will be imposed to the team and a suspension to the head-coach
will also be imposed.
