Central Scouting publishes its official April 1st list

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, March 31, 2008 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Central Scouting department today published its first official prospects list for the 2008 Entry Draft which will be held in Cape Breton next June.

The list includes 520 players, 427 of which are from Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces and 93 from New England. The players are listed alphabetically in rounds one (1) through five (5). Moreover, the list includes the following information:

1- 15 year-old players
2- Player rankings in alphabetical order for rounds 6 to 8 and 9 to 12
3- Other eligible 15 and 16 year-old players
4- American players

Of note, the first round includes six defensemen and twelve forwards.

Please note that the final list will be available on May 1, 2008.
