Brunelle earns 200th career QMJHL point

Sydney – Cape Breton Screaming Eagles captain Jonathan Brunelle on Saturday night recorded his 200th career Quebec Major Junior Hockey League point in a 5-2 win over the P.E.I. Rocket at Centre 200 in Sydney.
The 20 year old from Boisbriand, Quebec posted an assist on Mikael Langlois’ power play goal at 7:58 of the first period to give him the milestone point.
Brunelle played three seasons with the Drummondville Voltigeurs before being traded to the Screaming Eagles on June 3rd 2011.
In 64 games with Cape Breton this season the center has recorded 83 points (29 goals, 54 assists). Brunelle now currently has 202 career QMJHL points as of Saturday, March 10th 2012.
