The Armada revives the St-Jérôme Alouettes in the pre-season
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada has decided to honor the past by swapping their traditional black and white uniforms for some blue and orange ones this pre-season.
This gesture was meant to revive the defunct St-Jérôme Alouettes franchise for a few matchups. With the Armada playing three exhibition games at St-Jérôme’s Aréna Rivière-du-Nord, it was the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to the past.
The St-Jérôme Alouettes were one of the original franchises of the QMJHL, playing in the league from 1969 to 1972. To learn more about their history, you can CLICK HERE.
