Danny Dupont heads to Midget AAA League

ROUYN-NORANDA, Wednesday, September 21st, 2005 – The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies announced today that Danny Dupont has been hired as the new Head Coach of the Lac Saint-Louis Lions of the Quebec Midget AAA League. Danny had been an Assistant Coach with the Huskies franchise since the 2002-03 season.

"We are very proud of him and we're convinced that Danny will undoubtedly succeed as a Head Coach," mentioned André Tourigny, Head Coach and General Manager of Rouyn-Noranda.

The Huskies, rich in sought-after coaching candidates, lose their second Assistant Coach in under a year as Dave Thériault was hired to take over the bench boss duties of a Quebec Midget AAA League team – the Laurentides Vikings in the spring.
