Wildcats gear up for Movemeber!!
How’s your Mo!?? If it is anything like the Cats, it should be barely noticeable as they shaved as a team yesterday. The Wildcats will be growing their moustaches all month in support of the Movember and Prostate Cancer Canada.
Moustache Season is upon us, so the Wildcats have registered for Movember to embrace the hair of the wild. We’ve pledged to cultivate a genuine 100% face grown moustache by each player for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. Now, we’re on the hunt for trusty and fearless pioneers to join us by signing up for our team. Together we can change the face of men’s health. The Wildcats have aligned themselves with Prostate Cancer Canada to help with their ongoing Awareness, Support and Research initiatives. There will be representatives from Prostate Cancer Canada at various games throughout November selling pins for a minimum $1 donation and distributing information packs.
Wildcats players will be making phone calls on Thursday November 3rd to local area business soliciting support for the cause through ‘Mo Packs.’ These Mo Packs will be 5 vouchers valid for any game in November for $82.50. Fifty percent of the net proceeds will be donated to Movember Canada. The month will culminate on Tuesday, Movember 29th against Saint John with a silent auction of signed before and after shots of each player!
