GAME RECAP: Titan celebrate at home with win over Huskies

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan celebrated at home Friday night with a victory over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Bathurst beat the visitors 5-3 at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
Acadie-Bathurst goal scorers were Colby Huggan, Dawson Sharkey, François-James Buteau and Blake Pilgrim-Edwards, the latter of who had a pair of goals in the win. Lars Steiner, Ty Higgins and Antonin Verreault scored the trio of goals for the Huskies.
The Titan scored two goals in the first (Pilgrim-Edwards at 6:38 and Huggan at 12:27), one in the second (Buteau at 1:05) and a pair in the third (Sharkey at 10:00 and Pilgrim-Edwards at 19:51) to win the game.
Rouyn-Noranda had one goal in the first (Steiner at 7:32), one in the second (Huggins at 10:32) and one in the third (Verreault at 8:50).
Sharkey, who had a two-point game, was named the first Star of the Game, followed by Verreault with a three-point game to take the second star. Mathis Langevin, who stopped 36 of Rouyn-Noranda’s 39 shots on goal, was named the third star.
