Titan launch ticket program for Frontline Workers
It is with our sincerest gratitude and respect that the Acadie-Bathurst Titan are offering free tickets for the remainder of the season to first responders and health care workers in the Chaleur region and the Acadian Peninsula.
This will apply to paramedics, doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, all hospital staff, cleaning & administrative staff for health care offices, police officers & personnel with the RCMP (Chaleur region and Acadian Peninsula detachments), Bathurst Police Force, the Beresford, Nigadoo, Petit-Rocher, Pointe-Verte Regional Police, fire fighters and 911 operators/dispatchers.
“We are proud as a regional team to be able to thank, in our very own way, the essential service workers and first responders who have stood by the community through the many challenges we have faced over the past years,” said JD Boudreau, director of marketing for the Titan.
These extraordinary individuals – who continue to ensure our health and safety daily – have been at the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic since the start, and this is our way of showing our appreciation for everything they have done for us during these trying times. Effective March 11, we will have 50 tickets available at our box office every game, except for the last game of the 2021-22 regular season.
The initiative will be on a first come, first serve basis and will be limited to one ticket per employee to ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend a Titan game free of charge. Participants must pickup their ticket at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre box office no less than 48 hours prior to any Titan home game. Proof of occupation (ie: hospital ID or badge) will be required to pickup a ticket. This cannot be combined with any other ticket promotion.
We may be the smallest market team in the Canadian Hockey League, but the Acadie-Bathurst Titan are home to the community with the biggest heart. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in the stands at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre!
