Titan acquire Tucker from Moncton
BATHURST – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have completed a trade with the Moncton Wildcats to acquire defenceman Jack Tucker, General Manager Sylvain Couturier announced Saturday night. In return, the Wildcats receive a 2020 third round pick.
After signing with Moncton as a free agent in August 2017, Tucker played in a total of 83 games for the Wildcats over the past two seasons. The 18-year-old has 10 points in 30 games this season with a +10 rating. Listed at six-foot-two and 168-pounds, Tucker was originally a 14th round pick of the Kitchener Rangers in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
The Tampa, Florida product is the son of former NHLer John Tucker. He’ll join the Titan on New Year’s Eve when they visit his former team in Moncton.
