Roy returned to Midget AAA
BATHURST – General Manager Sylvain Couturier announced today that forward Tristan Roy has been returned to the Magog Cantonniers of the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League. Despite appearing in 18 of the Titan’s 22 games thus far, Couturier says the decision was one that both the team and Tristan agreed would be best for his development.
The 16-year-old from Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover, Quebec was the 19th overall selection in the 2019 QMJHL Draft by the Titan. Roy has no points and a -8 rating this season. He now joins the QMAAAHL’s top team alongside Titan prospects Julien Bourget and Alex-Antoine Yargeau. Magog is 15-4-0-1 in 20 games this season.
