Player Profile: Cole Larkin
Q: What is your favourite childhood hockey memory?
A: My favourite hockey memory was traveling to Montreal to play in tournaments with my spring hockey team. Also playing in the annual Spud Tournament on PEI with my minor team.
Q: What is it about the game that you love the most?
A: The thing I love so much about hockey is the people you meet and the relationships you create. I also love the competitiveness and intensity.
Q: What kind of foods do you like to eat and what is your pre-game meal?
A: I like to eat things like chicken, steak, fish with vegetables. My favourite pre-game meal is chicken stir fry.
Q: What kind of music do you like to listen to? Who is your favourite band/artist and why?
A: I like to listen to country music and my favourite artist would have to be Eric Church.
Q: What are your top five favourite movies/TV series to watch?
A: Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, Friends, Prison Break, Warrior.
Q: Do you enjoy reading? If so, what are your favourite books/authors?
A: I don’t really read a whole lot.
Q: Which NHL team do you cheer for? Why?
A: My favourite NHL team is Colorado Avalanche because I like watching Cale Makar.
Q: What is your favourite restaurant in Bathurst? What do you usually order there?
A: My favourite restaurant in Bathurst is Joey’s and I usually order the Brunswick burger.
Q: What is your favourite place in the Chaleur region? Why?
A: My favourite spot in the Chaleur region is Gowan Brae because it’s a great place for us to go and have some fun away from the rink.
Q: Tell us something unique about your hometown?
A: My hometown of Charlottetown is home of the Gold Cup and Saucer Harness race.
Q: What are your other hobbies and interests?
A: My other hobbies and interests away from hockey are golfing, dirt biking, hunting, hanging out with friends and boating.
Q: Do you have a nickname? If so, what is it and how did you get it?
A: My nickname is Larks or Larky and it just comes from my last name.
Q: What is your favourite animal and why?
A: My favourite animal is a dog because I have always had one growing up.
Q: Are you an Xbox or PlayStation player?
A: I’m a PlayStation player, second best PGA player on the team.
