Moose explode in 15-5 win over Rouyn

The Mooseheads enjoyed one of those nights on Friday.
The Herd put up a franchise record 15 goals Friday in Rouyn-Noranda in a 15-5 win over the Huskies. Nik Ehlers, Brent Andrews, Andrew Ryan, Jonathan Drouin and Danny Moynihan all scored a pair of goals. Darcy Ashley, Jesse Lussier, Matt Murphy, Brendan Duke and Austyn Hardie all added singles. Ehlers, Andrews and Ryan all had 5 point nights. The Moose had 6 players who had a plus 5 plus-minus rating or greater in the game. The Herd outshot the Huskies 47-29. Kevin Darveau picked up the win in goal after relieving Zach Fucale to start the second period.
The win improves the Mooseheads record to 13-8 on the season. Next up for the Mooseheads are the Val-d’Or Foreurs tomorrow night at 8:30pm AST.
