It’s shaping up to be a pretty exciting final weekend in Moose Country.
The Mooseheads won their 11th straight tonight on a Jonathan Drouin overtime goal in Charlottetown. Drouin would add an assist in the win as well. Andrew Ryan scored and recorded an assist while Timo Meier also tallied for the Moose. Nik Ehlers collected 2 assists becoming the 7th Mooseheads player and just the 2nd rookie in franchise history to record 100 points in a season. Ehlers needs 3 goals in the final 2 home games this weekend to hit the 50 goal mark and become the 4th Moosehead to hit that mark. Drouin needs just two points to become the first player in franchise history to record two 100 point seasons. Most importantly, the Mooseheads need just one win in their final 2 games to clinch 2nd overall in the League standings.
